This is a review of the Craft Fair at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, KY. The craft show is always in August and features a large number of regional artisans – often close to 100 vendor booths.

If you are looking to visit Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, KY, I would highly recommend doing it during the craft show!
General admission is discounted for the Craft Fair weekend and includes access to historic tours, exhibits, and other Shaker Village experiences.
Go hungry – there is a field of food trucks offering a variety of beverages and food. The food trucks have tacos to iced coffee.
Off to the side (and not pictured), there are tons of tables underneath several shade trees. So, you have a place to sit and rest while you eat and get away from the sun for a while!
We had the honey lemonade when there, and of course, I had the bourbon-infused one! It was a hot day, so it hit the spot!
If you choose not to eat at the plentiful food trucks, you can go inside and eat at the Trustees Table, their restaurant on site.
As we made our way through the vendor booths, we were able to go into the buildings, join tours, and experience the village.
The booths at the craft show have a variety of price points, and there was something for everyone! We happened to take my parents with us that weekend, as they were in from Eastern KY visiting.
My mom is a quilter, and her favorite booth was the booth of a fellow quilter. Of course, I went nuts for the Halloween displays in the booth.
My dear friend, Susanne, who owns Little Swede Pottery always sets up a booth. I regret I did not get a picture of her booth or her! I was too excited to see her and catch up! I have several of her beautiful pottery items, including a gnome that watches over my kitchen, ornaments, and a beautiful yarn bowl.
Don’t miss all the events Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill has to offer! It’s a great reason to visit! Keep August on your calendar for the Craft Show!
